Rig Reactivation Project – Middle East

MAC Recruit Group has been engaged to support a rig reactivation project in the Middle East. We are seeking experienced offshore drilling personnel with a strong shipyard background, who can mobilise quickly for an upcoming project.

Positions Required

• Maintenance Supervisor

• ET (Electronic Technician)

• Toolpusher

• Chief Electrician

Scope of Work

• Rig reactivation within the shipyard

• Transition into offshore operations once reactivation is complete

Requirements

• Offshore drilling background essential

• Jack-up rig experience preferred

• Previous shipyard or rig reactivation experience highly desirable

• Must be able to travel and mobilise by 7th April

Project Details

• Location: Middle East

• Contract: Day rate

• Mobilisation: Immediate

Interviews will take place ASAP due to the short mobilisation window.

Position: Day Toolpusher (Jack-Up Rig)

Employment Type: Permanent, direct hire

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Middle East (excluding Saudi Arabia)

Rotation Schedule: 28 days on / 28 days off

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise day-to-day drilling and related operations on a jack-up rig
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of drilling programs
  • Manage rig crew, third-party contractors, and equipment/supplies
  • Oversee well control, safety protocols, and operational performance
• Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years experience as a Toolpusher (or equivalent senior supervisory role) on jack-up rigs — essential
  • Valid offshore certificates: BOSIET, OGUK medical, and Well Control (Supervisor level or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership, safety focus, and in-depth knowledge of offshore drilling operations
