Dates and Duration: March - first trip 2 weeks with additional rotations throughout the year
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and certified instructor to deliver high-quality, industry-standard training in offshore firefighting, emergency response, and Incident Command System (ICS) principles tailored to the offshore oil & gas, renewable energy (e.g., wind), and maritime sectors.
This role combines advanced firefighting expertise with structured incident command training to prepare offshore personnel and emergency response teams for real-world high-hazard incidents.
Qualifications & Certifications (Required)
- Experienced instructor in relevant standards (e.g., OERTM/OERTL Instructor, Offshore Firefighting Instructor)
- Recognised firefighting qualification (e.g., advanced firefighting certification, former professional firefighter, offshore emergency response team experience)
- Formal training in Incident Command System (ICS) (e.g., ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300 level or equivalent offshore-adapted ICS training)
- Valid offshore medical certificate (e.g., OGUK or equivalent)
- BOSIET/FOET with EBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of offshore emergency response arrangements, fixed fire systems, and platform-specific hazards
