Offshore Medic

Location: Far East Offshore
Start Date: End of June 2026
Contract: Temporary Offshore Assignment
Duration: 28-Day Trip (Extension Possible)

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Medic for an offshore drilling rig operating in the Far East.

This is an initial 28-day trip with the potential for extension. Candidates must be available to mobilise within the next two weeks and have previous experience working onboard offshore drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare and emergency medical response for all personnel onboard.
• Assess, treat and manage medical cases in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain the rig's medical facilities, equipment and pharmaceutical inventory.
• Coordinate medical evacuations and liaise with onshore medical providers when required.
• Support emergency response drills and incident preparedness activities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Promote health and wellbeing initiatives onboard.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and regulatory medical standards.

Essential Requirements

✅ Previous Offshore Medic experience on a Drilling Rig (Essential)
✅ Recognised Offshore Medic Qualification
✅ Valid BOSIET / FOET
✅ Valid Offshore Medical
✅ Strong emergency response and trauma management experience
✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills
