Motorman

Location: Far East Offshore
Start Date: End of June 2026
Contract: Temporary Offshore Assignment
Duration: 28-Day Trip (Extension Possible)

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Motorman for an offshore drilling rig operating in the Far East.

This is an initial 28-day trip with the potential for extension. Candidates must be available to mobilise within the next two weeks and have previous experience working as a Motorman onboard offshore drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspection and repair of mechanical equipment onboard.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engines, pumps, compressors and auxiliary machinery.
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects or abnormalities.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and planned maintenance activities.
• Maintain machinery spaces in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist senior engineering personnel with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures and HSE requirements.
• Participate in emergency response duties as required.

Essential Requirements

✅ Previous experience working as a Motorman on an Offshore Drilling Rig (Essential)
✅ Strong mechanical maintenance background
✅ Valid BOSIET / FOET
✅ Valid Offshore Medical
✅ Experience working with diesel engines, pumps and rotating equipment
✅ Good understanding of offshore safety procedures
✅ Strong teamwork and communication skills
