The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Barge Engineer / Barge Supervisor for a permanent position with a major international offshore drilling contractor operating in the Middle East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of marine and barge operations onboard a jack-up drilling rig.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all barge and marine operations onboard the rig.

• Oversee jacking, positioning, rig moves and associated marine activities.

• Ensure operations comply with company and regulatory procedures.

• Coordinate marine activities with the OIM, Rig Manager and other department heads.

• Manage stability, ballast and load management operations.

• Maintain emergency preparedness and marine safety requirements.

• Supervise personnel within the marine department.

• Maintain relevant operational documentation and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barge Engineer / Barge Supervisor.

• Strong jack-up rig experience.

• Valid OIM licence/certification – essential.

• Strong knowledge of rig moves, jacking operations, stability and marine operations.

• Valid offshore survival and medical certification.

• Available to mobilise to the Middle East.

• Available ASAP or at short notice.

Electronic Technician (ET) – Deepwater Drillship

We are recruiting for an experienced Electronic Technician (ET) to join a deepwater drillship operation.

The successful candidate must have strong drillship experience and previous hands-on experience working with Aker drilling equipment and control systems.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electronic Technician (ET) on deepwater drilling units
• Proven drillship experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Aker drilling equipment and associated control systems – essential
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electronic and automated drilling systems
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, instrumentation and sensors
• Experience with planned and preventative maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills within an operational drilling environment
• Valid offshore certifications and medical

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic and control systems across the drilling package
• Provide technical support for Aker drilling equipment and associated systems
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose electronic, instrumentation and control system faults
• Support drilling operations and minimise equipment downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance and technical records
• Work closely with electrical, mechanical and drilling departments
• Ensure all work is completed in line with HSE and operational procedures

Aker experience is a mandatory requirement.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ ET experience within deepwater drilling operations.

Chief Engineer – DP2 Jack-Up / Lift Boat

Role Overview

We are recruiting experienced Chief Engineers for an upcoming offshore project in the Middle East.

Candidates must have significant experience at Chief Engineer level on DP2 Jack-Up Barges / Lift Boats, with a strong background in vessel machinery, power generation, DP-related maintenance and offshore marine operations.

The successful candidates will join the project on a 28/28 rotation, with additional commissioning hitches anticipated.

Minimum Requirements

• STCW Chief Engineer – Regulation A-III/2

• Minimum 5 years' experience in rank

• Proven DP2 Jack-Up Barge / Lift Boat experience

• OEM DP maintenance experience/training

• Strong knowledge of vessel power generation, propulsion, electrical and mechanical systems

• Experience maintaining machinery and systems critical to DP operations

• Valid STCW and relevant offshore/marine certification

• Strong maintenance planning and fault-finding capability

• Proven offshore safety and operational leadership experience

Commissioning Requirements

Additional commissioning hitches are anticipated prior to full project operations. Selected Chief Engineers may be required to travel to China during the commissioning phase to work alongside the client and support preparation of the vessel for operations.

Candidates must be flexible regarding mobilisation and commissioning requirements.

Previous DP2 Jack-Up Barge / Lift Boat experience is mandatory.
