Rig Type: Deepwater – Drillship / Semi-Submersible

We are currently recruiting experienced Deepwater Drillers for permanent positions with an established international offshore drilling contractor operating in Asia.

This is a direct-hire opportunity offering long-term employment for candidates with a strong background operating modern deepwater drilling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct drilling, tripping, casing and well-control operations.
  • Operate and monitor the drilling control system and associated equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the Assistant Driller and drill-floor crew.
  • Ensure drilling operations are carried out in accordance with the drilling programme and company procedures.
  • Monitor well conditions and respond appropriately to any changes.
  • Maintain a strong focus on well control and operational safety.
  • Participate in drills, toolbox talks, risk assessments and safety meetings.
  • Work closely with the Toolpusher and wider drilling team to maintain safe and efficient operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Driller preferred.
  • Strong recent experience on deepwater drillships and/or semi-submersibles.
  • Proven experience operating modern drilling equipment and control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of well-control procedures and drilling operations.
  • Valid IWCF Well Control Level 3 or 4, appropriate to position/company requirements.
  • Valid offshore survival and medical certification.
  • Previous international offshore experience.
  • Strong safety record and ability to work effectively within a multinational crew.
  • All certification and documentation must be valid and available for mobilisation.
