About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Analyst (utilities) to act as the central point of contact between our clients finance team and external utilities brokers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to expand their experience within a collaborative and supportive finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Master Utility Coding Sheet.
- Reconcile statements between SPVs and utility providers.
- Lead arrears calls with utility suppliers.
- Review utility uploads and recharges from brokers for accuracy.
- Ensure supplier billing is complete, resolving gaps to prevent disputes or disconnection notices.
- Follow up with property managers for change-of-tenancy information and meter readings.
- Liaise effectively with stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain smooth operations.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a busy accounts or finance department.
- Prior experience in analysing large data set, including data validation.
- Good understanding of accounting systems and processes.
- Prior experience in analysing large data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Experience in property or real estate finance (advantageous but not essential).
