SITE AGENT / SENIOR SITE AGENT

About the Opportunity

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent / Senior Site Agent to join a growing project delivery team working on major infrastructure enhancement schemes across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rail or civil engineering professional to take ownership of project delivery, lead site teams and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

Projects include structures, bridges, earthworks, station upgrades, highways and associated civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations and project delivery
• Leading engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Planning and coordinating works to achieve programme objectives
• Managing health, safety, quality and environmental performance
• Reviewing engineering drawings and technical information
• Overseeing work package plans, risk assessments, inspection test plans and site documentation
• Managing project progress, resources and change control
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and project teams
• Mentoring and developing junior staff

Requirements

• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or similar
• Previous experience as a Site Agent, Senior Site Agent or Sub Agent ready to progress
• Strong background in infrastructure or rail projects
• Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams
• Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and project controls
