Barge Engineer / Barge Supervisor – Offshore Jack-Up

Location: Middle East (not saudi)
Employment: Permanent / Direct Hire
Rotation: 28/28
Salary: $11,300 USD per month
Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Barge Engineer / Barge Supervisor for a permanent position with a major international offshore drilling contractor operating in the Middle East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of marine and barge operations onboard a jack-up drilling rig.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all barge and marine operations onboard the rig.

  • Oversee jacking, positioning, rig moves and associated marine activities.

  • Ensure operations comply with company and regulatory procedures.

  • Coordinate marine activities with the OIM, Rig Manager and other department heads.

  • Manage stability, ballast and load management operations.

  • Maintain emergency preparedness and marine safety requirements.

  • Supervise personnel within the marine department.

  • Maintain relevant operational documentation and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barge Engineer / Barge Supervisor.

  • Strong jack-up rig experience.

  • Valid OIM licence/certification – essential.

  • Strong knowledge of rig moves, jacking operations, stability and marine operations.

  • Valid offshore survival and medical certification.

  • Available to mobilise to the Middle East.

  • Available ASAP or at short notice.
