The Talent Management Manager will oversee the creation and implementation of talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies that align with organizational goals. By embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion at every stage of the employee lifecycle, this role will help cultivate an innovative, values-driven, and collaborative workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract exceptional, diverse candidates that align with the client’s hiring needs and long-term goals.
- Lead workforce planning efforts, including analyzing hiring trends and workforce data to address talent needs proactively.
- Design and oversee succession planning, employee development programs, and career path frameworks.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing strategies, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with leadership to create strategies for attracting, retaining, and nurturing top talent.
- Develop and track recruitment and retention KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Partner closely with DE&I teams to ensure that hiring and internal mobility processes are fair and inclusive.
- Implement performance management processes and tools to foster employee development and drive organisational growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, guiding team performance, engagement, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and adopt best practices for recruitment, selection, and equal employment opportunity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in talent management, HR, or recruitment management.
- Proficiency with talent management systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS tools.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and leading inclusive recruitment strategies and employee development programs.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, recruitment metrics, and workforce planning principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels.
- Proven ability to analyze data, present insights, and optimize recruitment and retention strategies.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certifications (preferred).
Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with team members and departmental leaders to identify current and long-term hiring needs.
- Lead recruitment efforts, including conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and devising onboarding plans.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction scores.
- Develop strategies to enhance the employee experience, advancement opportunities, and organisational culture.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on leadership development and employee empowerment.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, recruitment trends, and evolving DE&I initiatives.
