Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid – one day every two weeks in the office) 

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 plus bonus (OTE £55,000 - £60,000)

MRG are delighted to partner with a growing SaaS company in Edinburgh, as they look to recruit a commercially driven Partnerships & Sales Lead to join the organisation at an exciting stage of expansion. This is a hybrid role — part sales, part relationship management — ideal for someone who thrives on building rapport, driving measurable results, and ensuring customers see value from day one.

You’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating growth by converting inbound prospects into thriving customers while also developing strategic partnerships that expand our reach and influence product adoption. What You’ll Do

Sales & Lead Engagement

  • Qualify and engage inbound leads through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.

  • Deliver tailored product demos that address customer pain points.

  • Guide prospects through trials, handle objections, and close new subscriptions.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility within the CRM.

Account Growth & Relationship Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for new leads and customers.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts.

  • Conduct quarterly health and growth reviews.

  • Spot upsell opportunities and drive account expansion.

  • Monitor account health to reduce churn.

Partnership Management

  • Own and grow relationships with key customer accounts.

  • Deliver quarterly joint initiatives (co-marketing, campaigns, events).

  • Represent the business at partner events and customer meetings.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to create partnership programme materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Share insights with Customer Success and Product teams.

  • Contribute to refining sales playbooks and onboarding processes.

  • Champion the customer’s voice to influence product improvements.

  • Conversion: Increased inbound lead-to-customer rates.

  • Retention: Strong renewal and expansion across accounts.

  • Partnership Impact: Regular joint initiatives and partner-influenced pipeline growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2–4 years in SaaS sales, partnerships, or account management.

  • Knowledge: Background in accounting or experience working with CFOs/accountants.

  • Tools: Comfortable using Xero, QuickBooks, and CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).

  • Skills:

    • Proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and closing SMB/SME B2B deals.

    • Excellent communicator across calls, video, and written channels.

    • Organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and a problem solver.

  • Mindset: Growth-driven, customer-first, and able to balance sales targets with long-term relationship building.
