Overview
Seeking an experienced Offshore Instructor to deliver and assess a range of technical and safety-critical training programmes within the offshore sector. This role requires a hands-on professional with proven training delivery experience and strong operational knowledge.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in offshore training / instruction
- Valid offshore certification (BOSIET / FOET, OGUK Medical, etc.)
- Assessor qualification or Train the Trainer certification (essential)
- Strong background in offshore operations and safety standards
- Ability to deliver both theory and practical training
- Confident assessing competence and maintaining training records
Course Delivery Scope
You will be responsible for delivering and assessing across a range of courses, including:
- Crane Operator Assessment – Stage 3
- Forklift Operator
- MEWP (Cherry Picker)
- Rigging & Slinging (Rigger Course)
- Banksman (G11 Banksman & Slinger)
- Man Riding Winch Operator
- Confined Space Entry – Level 1 & 2
- Working at Height – Level 1 (Fall Protection & Rescue)
- Working at Height – Level 2
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accredited offshore training to industry standards
- Conduct practical and theoretical assessments
- Ensure compliance with all HSE and client-specific requirements
- Maintain accurate training documentation and competency records
- Support continuous improvement of training programmes
