Chief Engineer – Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge
Location: KSA Waters
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
Day Rate: $850 USD
Travel Allowance: $150 USD per round trip
Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (SPJUB) operating in KSA waters.
The successful candidate must have extensive SPJUB experience and meet the mandatory sea-service requirements for Saudi Aramco approval.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 725 days' sea service as Chief Engineer onboard a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (SPJUB) – mandatory Aramco requirement
- Minimum 2 years' experience on Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barges
- Must meet all criteria required for Saudi Aramco approval
- Sea service must be clearly documented and verifiable
- Degree from a recognised Maritime Academy or University
Required Certification
- Valid Chief Engineer Unlimited Licence – STCW III/2
- Vessel Flag State Endorsement / Certificate of Equivalence (COE)
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training
- Advanced Fire Fighting – STCW A-VI/3
- Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats – STCW A-VI/2-1
- All licences and certification must be current and valid
Additional Benefits
- Overtime worked for operational reasons paid at 100% of the applicable day rate
- Over Days outside the normal working hitch paid at 100% of the applicable day rate, where compensatory field break days are not provided
