MRG is delighted to be working with one of Scotland’s leading energy consultancies who is going through a period of growth, thanks to some fantastic business wins and their customer service being second to none! They are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join their team in Cumbernauld.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Account Executive, you will be integral to ensuring the client receives exceptional service and that all their administrative and reporting needs are met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Management: Handle client delivery for our Bureau Services, including invoice validation, resolving queries, managing contract transfers, and portfolio management.
  • Issue Resolution: Liaise with the Team Manager and Account Managers to swiftly resolve any client issues, ensuring the correct procedures are followed at all times.
  • Complaint Handling: Manage client complaints efficiently, ensuring timely and effective query resolution.
  • Registration Support: Manage the acceptance process and facilitate the successful registration of supplies, ensuring all documentation and systems are accurate.
  • Client Administration: Handle all administrative needs for clients, ensuring smooth operations and communications.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using provided templates, ensuring that reporting aligns with client expectations and work plans.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Assist in maintaining up-to-date documentation, including operating procedures, templates, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals.

Skills and Experience Required:

To excel in this role, you’ll need a strong blend of technical, analytical, and communication skills:

  • I.T. Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and proficient in Word and Outlook.
  • Data Management: Experience in inputting and managing data on a day-to-day basis, working with databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex information, particularly in relation to energy tariffs, the energy sector, and relevant legislation.
  • Attention to Detail: High-level administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Education & Experience: A degree-level education or equivalent industry experience is required.
